My opinion on the Godzilla Vs Kong Movie
Have you ever been excited about something that you knew was never going to live up to your expectations? That was how I felt about the Godzilla Vs Kong movie.
I knew it was going to be another over-the-top big-screen blockbuster with bad dialogue, a questionable plot, and mediocre acting at best. But, a drop of muddy water in a barren desert is worth more than the finest wine. That’s why I bought a one-way ticket on the hype train out of the pandemic rut. I was so hyped I even wrote an article about it.
Did it live up to my expectations? Yes. Around 40 minutes of the movie's runtime gave me everything I wanted from a fun action-packed monster movie. Unfortunately, the remaining hour and 20 minutes made me question why I was wasting my time staring at paper-thin side characters stumbling their way through the plot.
So, join me as I go over the great and not-so-great moments of the movie. Be warned that I get a bit spicy at the end. Oh, and mild spoilers ahead.
